Here I Glow Again...

WOW, have I been tired! Trying to catch up on my rest after the weekend of Christmas parties, then back to the grind stone on Monday. But anyway, Aunt Helen's party was very nice. We stayed at their condo in Reynoldsburg and we were a little crowded, but it was still fun. She gave out a stocking full of "stuffers" for everyone this year. Deda, your artistic eye would love the way they are remodeling. You'd especially love the kitchen, very fancy schmancy and right out of a magazine! Very cool way of utilizing small spaces. I ended up spending much of the evening sitting on the stairs with a some others and talking, and my rump got super stiff, as well as my legs. I would situate over and over so as not to be in such pain, but then my pant leg would ride up and expose my ever glowing, (and I do mean glowing in the dark)skin. Oh well, I'm proud of the fact that when the electricity goes out, we can still see by the glow from my legs... hmmm...
Ok, enough of that. Anyway, today, I found out that the report I get every three months at work shows I'm below average these past two months. The real stink of it all is I've been feeling like i've never worked harder! So, I guess I'll just be myself, do my best and if that's not good enough, well, then, let what comes come. As long as I do the best I can, that's all I can ask of myself, right? It won't matter once I'm a famous writer and public speaker, and have regular singing gigs, and all, huh? LOL!

Well, everyone has their down time at work... I know it is hard when you try so hard and it doesn't turn out the way you thought that it would.... but... we will pray for you and I know that God will bless your efforts! He knows your needs! Hang in there Gigi we love ya!

Wow, I almost forgot about how we used to sit by the glow of your legs and do our homework at nights when the electric was out. GOOD 'OL DAYS!! (Edison had nothing on you,LOL)

Hey, don't dwell on work. It's not worth stressing over. Just use this as motivation to work harder in the things you do love, like you said, writing, speaking, singing, etc.!! :)

And vent your heart out on your blogs. That's what it's there for!!

Hey there, girl!!! Yes, I do remember a Santa picture of some really good-looking kids!!!! I have a copy of it and I am thinking I should go and dig it out!!!! lol!!!! :)) Good times!!! :))

I am glad to hear your Christmas parties were fun! We are going to one at my aunt's house on Saturday. It will be nice to see some people we haven't seen in awhile. Although, I do hope I have a better place for my "very awesome" butt to sit than you did!!!! LOLOLOL!!!! :))

Oh, and one last thing, try and take those reports in stride! I bet they make it impossible for people to meet the standards. It is usually just a ploy to get the most out of people they can (and for the least money, of course, too)! You know you are a good worker and that is what counts!!! I will be praying along w/Carleta!!! :))

Hey, thanks for the prayers ladies! You are all so sweet. I am just gonna stop worrying about it and go with the flow. :)
And Deda...hmmm, I'm just glad you remember those times of sacrifice I made for the sake of your grades. LOL

Ya know, those same people that reviewed your job, probably got "below average" reviews themselves from time to time. Just don't dwell on it and feel free to vent whenever you feel the need. We love you, and will keep in our prayers. BTW, you are a famous writer now, and I will never forget your beautiful voice!
