Candles, songs and Peekaboo

Is everyone ready for Christmas? Wow, not me. Everytime I think I'm winding down and ready, I remember something else that needs done. But that makes life interesting. Right now, Will and I are busy planning for the Christmas Candlelight Service on December 23rd starting at 6:00. Hope any and all can come. We have special music lined up, as well as some readings, and even a couple of singers from somewhere other than Pickaway. You'll just have to come and find out who for yourselves. We are planning cookies and hot chocolate, punch, afterwards. I hope everyone has a good time. This is the first time Will and I have been in charge of this.
Oh, this is too funny. Not to change the subject, but my kitty, Peekaboo, who I call Peekie is trying to type with me right now. At first I didn't realize she was there, then I thought I saw a little white paw reach up through the back of the computer desk where the keyboard sits, but thought I must be seeing things. Then I saw it again and then two little white paws reaching up trying to catch my fingers, or maybe she has a message she wants to type, who knows. You'd have to be here to see it. She's probably trying to keep me focused on all the things I still have to do. So on that note, I'll say so long for now.

There must be something about computers and cats. Bear is spread all over my lap right now purring his fat little head off and I can barely type. He can't stand the fact that I'm "over here" on the computer and not doing something w/ him. Of course, if I was "trying" to play w/ him, he'd probably bite me and make me leave him alone. Aaaah cats.....

The candlelight service should be nice. I can't believe it's one week until Christmas already.

Awww! The candlelight service sounds soooo nice! I wish sooo much we could come, but unfortunately, we have other plans that night!!!! I know the service will be really nice and it is special and people look forward to it!!!! I wish we could come and be a part of it! You all do so many things to make Pickaway a place that people want to come! You do a good job and it shows!!!! :))

I like the name "Peekaboo" for your cat! I am afraid our cat, Stubby" is getting sick again. Not looking good again! He was sick a couple of weeks ago and then was fine, but who knows what will happen.
I am supposed to be leaving for my hair appt., but had to comment on your blog before I signed off!
Take Care!!!! :)

Ashe, is our cat. He is a siamese, and very much in charge. That is until my pekingnese, Maggie, shows up. Then no one is in charge! Actually, Ashe is Luke's cat, but when he moved out, Ashe didn't! I am glad. He is a lot of company and Maggie would not know how to behave if Ashe wasn't there for her to wrestle with! They are both very fond of one another! Weird, I know, but that is par for the course around here!
I always think I am ready for Christmas, but I never am until about the 26th! I just enjoy holidays so much, that I want to keep going. I know I buy too much, spend too much, and cook too much, but I really don't care! I love it!I look forward to meeting and eating with friends and family and thinking of new ways to reinforce the presence of Christ in our Christmas celebrations. At church this year we are not doing a Christmas eve candle light, but the preacher and cast are performing a play he wrote called, "The Shepherd Is Coming". He did it on a small scale last year, and this year it has grown to ALMOST where he has intended it to be. It should be awesome! He and his family are extremely talented and work 24-7 to bring the love of the Lord to as many people as they can, in any way that they can. I hope you have a blessed Christmas!Well, this is beginning to look more like a post then a comment! Enjoy the season!

Computers and Cats are hilarious! One time I was at Miranda's and I was showing her how to change the sounds...and Bear went insane. It was funny though.

The Candle Light Service was by far one of the best ones we've had. Angie, you and Will did a wonderful job! Props to you both!

Oh, and if you get time, check out my blog. Pictures of my cousin and the little girl Zoe she is adopting are on there! :)
